Living the Lame Life

Josh came and stayed with us for two weeks. He took some super awesome pictures. We had a great time with him. Kevin and Josh went to an outdoor range. Josh hung out while Kevin got his tattoo (his super awesome birthday/Father's Day gift from the best wife/kids in the world). We all went go-cart racing (I dare you to ask the boys who the fastest driver is). The mall playground, the park, a picnic, swimming, cooking all night, picking blackberries and blueberries, baking cookies (twice), more soccer watching and video gaming than I imagined possible, movie watching, popcorn eating, Frankie's Fun Park, and a couple birthday parties.

I lost count of the number of times I was referred to as lame. I guess when you are an adult and you cram all of the fun stuff from 16-18 into a couple of weeks a year, you might be lame.

But I contest that my awesomeness was just too much for Josh to handle.

It was better than SHARK WEEK (which btw starts on my birthday this year)!!!!!!

And since shark week coincides with my birthday this year,
I better start planning soon.

And Josh should return for the Week of Elizabeth/Shark Week.

Honestly, it will be hard to top the last two weeks, but I feel it is my duty.

Here are the pictures for those of you less than excited about birthdays and go-carts.

Can't you see? I'm just bones. Is the camera edible?

Wheeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Josh says I need to play baseball when I grow up.
I'm thinking pretty hard right now.
Although, I can't remember what about.

The park is SOOOOO much fun.

Church

I picked Zoe up from the nursery tonight. She usually doesn't say anything, but she has been getting quite talkative recently.

"I love Sunday School, Mommy"
"Why do you love Sunday School?"
"The slide"

By the way, if you ask Kevin why he loves Sunday School you will get an equally fantastic although sarcastic answer.

a few more pictures

Wyatt is hanging out in the background. Zoe went down the water slide a few times before it we started to deflate it.
Zoe was very serious about protecting her frog pool during the water fight at the cookout with the neighbors.
Playing on the patio.

Kicking during her 2nd swimming lessons.

Lots of smiles.
Wyatt chillin at swimming lessons. Usually he gets in the pool, but he spends at least part of the time hanging out in the stroller.
